Where the Side-by-Side Habit Came From
We've been at this for fifteen years now, and the way Lake Bluff Life Insurance works grew out of something we noticed very early. Hardly anyone was confused about whether they needed life coverage. They were confused because each quote they'd collected showed exactly one product, and nobody had bothered to set the alternatives beside it. So that's what we started doing: quoting term, whole and universal at the same benefit, on the same call, and explaining what separates them.
A village like ours rewards that sort of patience. People here talk, at the Fourth of July parade, down at the beach and on the early train into the city, and a clear explanation gets passed along. Over the years we've worked with couples who'd just bought their first place, parents bracing for tuition, retirees putting money aside for final costs and policyholders who stumbled onto a conversion deadline with only weeks to spare.
